About Me

Matt White BSc. Hons (Dunelm)

At 16:00 on 28th June 2006 I graduated from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Durham with a 2:2 in Software Engineering. I NEVER want to work as a software developer.

I am currently maintaining a few websites:

My past

From the age of 4 I started at Downsend Lodge Rowans and then moved onto Downend’s main site at the age of 7. I progressed through the school until the age of 13 at which point I passed my Common Entrance to go to St John’s. I have lost contact with most people from Downsend however I am slowly finding them again on Facebook.
At St John’s I was in North House and met Mr. Patrick Noble who was an exceptional housemaster who helped me through my GCSEs and A-Levels. Jim and Donks were two of my best friends at school and I still keep in touch with them to this day. They have just completed their degrees at Oxford Brookes and are going on to bigger and better things.

  • Mention CCF
  • Mention Shooting

After St John’s I went back to Downsend to become a Gap Year Student before progressing to university. During this year I met so many good people who I have remaind in contact with since I left. I went to Downsend with Doogs and I hadn’t seen him since we left in 1997. I also met up again with Lindsay who I hadn’t seen since our time at the Rowans!!!
